downloaded .ISOs will not mount

I am running a Mac 10.6.8 and I cannot mount the .ISOs that I have downloaded for Ubuntu systems 10 and 11.

WTF?
I want to burn these cds and install to VM on my machine.
PLZ HELP.

Have you tried the instructions at http://www.ubuntu.com/download/ubuntu/download? (In Step 2, select CD and Mac and click "Show me how.")
