Can't start liveCD ubuntu 11.10

Asked by Sergio Tortosa

I can't start Ubuntu 11.10 LiveCD, in the first screen it shows me "EDD 8488 Coding sector 358922" in yellow pixels in the top of the screen, it shows that two times (they appear together) and then it gets stuck and the only thing I can do it's poweroff the laptop by pressing the button.
I have a laptop Asus A52J/K52JB and earlier versions of Ubuntu booted fine.

Did you MD5 test the ISO you downloaded?
Did you burn the CD as slowly as possible?

I made the MD5 test and was the same. I will try to burn it again at minimum speed

Sorry, I couldn't answer before. I have fixed it by burning Ubuntu at 10x(the minimum I could burn) thanks.
