one copy ubuntu 11.10 CD, where?

Asked by Pepe

I am trying to buy one copy, that is only one copy. I do not need five, ten, 100 or whatever. Just one copy and I am having a very difficult time of it. No one seems to understand that I just want to buy one copy of Ubuntu 11.10. Only one copy. My Ubuntu 10.04 CD I got for free, came with several other CDs. which I still have and I know I will never use.

I donated $25 hoping someone could help me. But I get other suggestions and even advertising.

I have been told that it is illegal to sell one copy of ubuntu 11.10 on a CD. Does anyone know? Thank You

Check question 174372. Canonical is not going to ship until October 20, 2011. The places that will sell you (1) copy, will be after that. I have never heard anything about selling (1) copy of Ubuntu illegal.

I don't know if my answer went through, but my problem is solved for the moment. I will wait until October 20 and try again, if it is not illegal. Meanwhile, thanks for understanding that I just want one copy and all other well intentioned suggestions are not relevant. And someone else has suggested I could do that too. Wow.
Thanks
