Hi try to download it from here:
http://releases.ubuntu.com/oneiric/ubuntu-11.10-desktop-i386.iso

If this not work I strongly suggest to you to download it with torrent. Here is the .torrent file:
http://releases.ubuntu.com/oneiric/ubuntu-11.10-desktop-i386.iso.torrent
