GNOME manager broke..

This is my first time using Ubuntu and now i'm reinstalling it.. This is what happen I installed Ubuntu. Then I updated it with the software center thing. It applied changes. Then it asked me to restart. Which I didn't yet I wanted to install file zilla, eclipse, etc. When I tried to Ubuntu crashed.. It said, "Gnome Manager has, etc, etc, etc" and I couldn't login to my Ubuntu anymore.

After upgrading follow the instructions and reboot.
Then try to install the other applications.
