In regards to your reply concerning my monitor acting wacky. When I
tried the iso "Try" feature from the cd my monitor acts very strange. I
can barely see the Ubuntu screen in the background. There seems to some
strange looking lines and images in the foreground. I have never seen
this before on any monitor. At first I thought that it was my MB
graphics drivers that where out of date so I updated them and tried
again with the same results.
I have been wondering could the iso download have been corrupted ? I
also thought it might have been a bad cd so I burn another but got the
sames results. I do want to try Ubuntu on my pc but I am not sure what I
need to do at this point. Any ideas ??

Thank you,
Bob
