Did you MD5 test the ISO you downloaded?

Hello,

Have you set your machine's BIOS correctly to boot from a CD or USB.

It should boot from a CD or USB and allow you to try out 11.04 without installing it. However, it will not allow you to upgrade from 8.10 but you can do a full install which will erase all your hard disk. Do not give up.

Regards, Allan :)

Hello,

If the CD or USB are OK have you changed the BIOS to boot from this media?

You open up the BIOS by holding down the F2 key on boot and then change to boot sequence.

Have you done this?

Regards,

Allan :)
