How the driver of laptop is installed

My Laptop is Asus brand. Many driver are installed for many utility service. How can i install these driver in ubuntu. many driver such as VGA Intel GMA windows 32bits ,camera driver, wimax driver, and so on. Please tell me how can i install these driver in ubuntu 11.04 (32bits) version.

All you have to do is boot from your LiveCD, it might support your hardwares. If it doesn't, you can use Administration->Additional drivers utility to install supported hardwares.

Can you give the output of:

sudo lshw -C display; sudo lshw -C network; lsb_release -a; lsusb

The driver you have work only with Windows. You will have to use drivers written for Linux. Boot on Ubuntu CD, choose "Try" instead of "Install" (Ian LiveCD) and check if hardware is automatically well managed. If not, we will have to search on Internet the drivers. For test, please use a wired connection to Internet, to avoid being blocked by a temporary WIFI driver issue.
