Acer Aspire 4736 Notebook PC shows black screen when I tried to run installation.

When I tried to run installation of the latest Ubuntu (11.04) on my Acer Aspire 4736 Notebook PC, all I see is just a pitch black screen! Graphics on the said PC is Intel GMA 4500MHD. Thanks.

Add the boot option:

nomodeset

Got a low res GUI but did not proceed with installation because of lack of disk space. Unsure if the new Unity will be supported.

sorry befor, for actionparsnip : add the boot option : nomodeset, where is? in booting life CD? or other
