will install on my laptop Toshiba A305 Core2 Duo with 3gb of Ram and 200gb HDD

When i am trying to install Ubuntu 11.04 in my Toshiba Laptop A305, its booting from the CD but then after its not showing anything on the screen, if i wait for many time then also not continuing the installation........... so please give me a solution

Did you MD5 test the ISO you downloaded?
Did you burn the CD as slowly as possible?
Did you test your RAM?
Did you test the CD for defects once it started to boot?

yes i did all these steps ...............but results are same as before..................

Ok, then try the boot option:

nomodeset
