Installation in other than C: partition of Hard Disk

Asked by mfskanpur

Previously till Ubuntu 10.10 there was an advance installation option to install Ubuntu in other partitions ( other than Windows partition ) of Hard Disk. This time I downloaded Ubuntu 11.04 Beta version. But when installed it didn't provided any advance option to install in other partition ( other than Windows ). Could anybody explain the reason.

Partitioning is still required for all but the WUBI installer; please make sure you have downloaded the correct ISO.

Do *not* click the "if your running windows" link (aka Windows installer); this *will* install to a file on your windows partition.
