how do you remove ubantu When i went to upgrade to version 10 the power was interrupted. The system now shows some errors. Update manager and sync do not work . i want to delete this version and reload with a CD.
Add remove programs also does not allow access.

Just install Ubuntu on top of the old version. Make sure to make any necessary backups with the live cd.

Choose manual partitioning during install. Mount folders on right partition and DON'T FORMAT. Ubiquity (Ubuntu installer) will reinstall system file but keep files in /home folder. And as said Tom, do a backup before. It's never a bad idea.

Can you help with this problem?
