First of all, you need to download an ISO file, which you can get here: http://www.ubuntu.com/desktop/get-ubuntu/download Once you have downloaded the ISO, you can burn it onto a DVD or open it with WinRar and extract it. Then, run the Universal USB Installer executable. Then, agree with the Terms and Conditions, and select the Ubuntu version you will install. Finally, browse the ISO file and select the drive letter where your USB is mounted on, and click Create. After that, you will be ready to use it. Remeber to backup the data in the USB, because it will be formatted in the process.
