Help installing Ubuntu

Hello,

I am trying to download the OS for my windows laptop. So I click the big orange button and a box pops up, You have chosen to open ubuntu 10.10-netbook-i386.iso which is a:ISO Image File from:http://mirrors.rit.edu
What should Firefox do with this file? open with: Roxio Creator, Internet Explore, itunes
I tried the other option Save file and I am still stuck with not other option other than the list above. Please help. Thanks.

You don't know hot to download a file from Internet?
Choose save and wait until it completes the download. The ISO file is 700 MB, so it will take a while.

Thank you for your reply. I clicked on save and I still get the option of
Roxio Creator. What format to download the file? Thanks

The format is ISO. Roxio Creator is just a program that you can use to take that ISO file and burn it in a CD. But first save it to the disk. If you want to make sure it gets saved, right-click the orange link and select "save link as..." or some similar option.
