failed to install kubuntu from usb drive

i have downloaded kubuntu dvd.iso from the kubuntu site. then using virtual cd-rom i installed kubuntu on my 8gb sandisk pen drive using USB creator.....so that i can install operating system by using bootable USB drive.

but when i select usb drive as first boot device..it gives me a error message:

" kernel image not found: linux"

Did you MD5 test the ISO you downloaded?
Have you tried unetbootin or the 1-2-3 app from pendrivelinux.com?

i dont know about what MD5 test is?

also, i created the bootable USB by using USB creator provided with the Kubuntu LInux DVD.iso

You could have websearch for what it is then done one. You would have quickly found guides like this:

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HowToMD5SUM

Currently you have no way of knowing your ISO you downloaded is consistent or complete.

yep! thatz really a valuable info... i have visited site and downloaded the md5 test sftware fr windows.. it checked one of ma fedora distribution and it passed..... i'l surely chk ma KUBUNTU iso file
