After install, won't restart

Asked by Jeb E.

Every time I try to install Ubuntu now, my system won't restart when it gets to the restart screen. I even tried installing Debian and the same thing happened. How can I fix this? Is it probably something wrong inside the computer?

you should also check to see how much free disk space you have.

You have to use entire disk and it will reformat. The problem is in the boot sector. Or use a partition program to clean it. Don't forget to set boot sequence in BIOS to CD/rom boot first. The hard drive as second. Put cd in and go from there. I assume the cd is not corrupted.

Can you help with this problem?
