What is the correct install for a laptop? Desktop or Netbook.

I am new to the Ubuntu world, but love this OS. I have a friend who wants me to install Ubuntu on her laptop. I am not sure if I should install the Desktop version or the Netbook version. I do not have the model of the laptop, but it is a Dell. For those more experienced than me. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Both will run fine, it's a matter of personal preference on using the smaller screen. Try both with live media, and install the one she likes.
