no root file system is defined please correct this from the partitioning menu

i am using windows 7 and I'm trying to install Ubuntu 10.10 on the free space(unallocated space) in the hard drive but when I'm clicking the install button a dialog box is popping up saying "no root file system is specified please correct this from the partitioning menu"

It's simple. In the "Linux World", when you're installing the system you must indicate what partition is going to be the most important, in what partition the system is going to be installed. It is important 'cause maybe you want to install the system in one partition and your data in the other.

To specify what partition you want to be the most important, click twice in the partition and in "mount point" type /
