10.10 live DVD fails

Try out of 10.10 fails with following message:
(initramfs) mount: mounting /dev/loop0 on //filesystem.squashfs failed: input/out error

DVD and memory check for errors:

DVD 10.04 live OK and running 9.10 with no major problems.

A possibility is that the CD is corrupted. A suggestion from me is that you download and bur a new ubuntu cd. (it's v important that you download a new one - you should also ensure that the size of the downloaded corresponds to just above 690MB)

Agree that DVD from Ubuntu magazine is probably corrupt. Second copy is on way by sea! (don't ask)
Dial up slow line prevents large downloads so rely on mags DVDs for updates, John.
System very good with previous Ubuntu's, Vishnu Gt

Will advise when new DVD arrives if still unsuccessful. Thanks for help.

Second Ubuntu User Issue 7 magazine with 10.10 32-bit + Live Version DVD received which correctly sets up live session.
