Asked by John Cultrera

What a pain...No where in Ubuntu 10.10 can I find a way to uninstall/delete the program.-

Am 81 years old, and don't have time to scree around UBUNTU.

How in the hell can I unistall or delete from my limited computer?

Huh? If you want to delete it, just install whatever it is you want to install on top -- this should erase it.

If you were to "undelete" it, you would have nothing left except your BIOS (on-board OS -- very minimal), which would not be very friendly :)

If you installed under Windows (Wubi) just go to Control Panel, Add/remove programs, and double click on Ubuntu.
If you split your partition and did a dual boot, then reinstall the windows bootloader, after that boot into windows, and format the partition you created for Ubuntu. If it's Vista/7 you can merge the partition back into the main windows one - if XP you can format it and use it as a separate 'drive'.

To install bootloader - boot from a windows repair cd/dvd and if you are using XP run command "fixmbr", otherwise for Vista/Win 7 run "bootrec.exe /fixmbr"

There's another way to do this if you can't boot a windows repair cd. Just ask if you have any problems.

Can you help with this problem?
