can I purchase ubuntu in a usb flash drive?

is it possible to purchase ubuntu in a usb flash drive form? It takes over 2 hours to download and it doesn't want to download onto my netbook. Presently I have Windows 7 Starter and need to put ubuntu on my netbook.

will downloading and installing ubuntu eliminate/destroy any existing malware such as trojans and keylogging devices presently on a netbook using MS Windows 7?

If they are installed in Windows and yu delete the Windows partitions, then yes there will be no more problems
