Will ubuntu 64-bit run on a pc with 1gb ram and amd sempon 2ghz processor?If yes what advantage will i have in 64-bit over 32-bit?

With 1GB of memory, you could stay on Ubuntu 32bits, as main advantage of 64bits is to use memory after 3.2GB.
