Installation stuck

Asked by Ignesias Tan

I downloaded ubuntu 10.10 64-bit from the ubuntu website and burned as an iso via the suggested 'infrarecorder'. The installation goes smoothly until the 'Who are you?' page, then it says 'ready when you are...' and the forward button is greyed out not allowing me to click on it. I have already entered all the information requested on the screen, everything is checked with a green check-mark but the forward button is un-clickable.. I have tried clicking back and then forward again, and it just brings me back to the same page with my information still contained in the fields, but the 'forward' button still remains unclickable. I have tried suspending, and hibernating the computer and it failed to resume my session, so i ran a full installation again both times chooseing to delete everything on the computer and install only ubuntu, but each time the forward button to complete the installation is greyed out. Is there anyway to refresh this screen or get the button to pop so i can click it??

User name must start with a lower case, and after be only made of lower case, digits (and "-" , "-" but not sure).
This is a known (and fixed for next release) of Ubuntu installer.
