Intallation hangs on getting time from a network server

I am installing Ubuntu 10.04 on a Dell PC and as the installation (inside windows) is about to finish it hangs on "Getting Time from a network time server". I have tried rebooting and waiting an hour but with the same result. When runnning on windows the PC is connected to the internet on broadband. Any help would be appreciated

Are you connected to the net during the install? If so, remove the network cable and try to install Ubuntu again.
