startup installation

Asked by Pranav Paharia

i got stuck into very weird problem. I'm installing ubuntu 10.10 64 bit in my dell 1640. I choose a seperate logical partition of 10 gb and 2 gb swap space. And it asked me mount option. i didnt know what is it so i just chose the '/' option and the filesystem was 'ext4'
the installation was going well. It was asking me about my city, then keyboard layout. I was connected to the internet. And when the installation reaches upto the useraccount menu i filled all the information (although it was notifying me that your password is weak) still whatever is asked i filled it correctly. But the "forward" option is not highlighting up. i waited for very long period. But that option wasn't highlightning. I didn't had any option other than cancelling the installation.
Can anyone please help me [:(]

Did you enter the password twice? I'm sorry if this is an obvious question.
