Please follow this pages:

Kubuntu official pages with torrent links http://www.kubuntu.org/getkubuntu/download

Here all Ubuntu active torrents http://torrent.ubuntu.com:6969/

To not waste your time trying to install using a not perfect iso image file, BE SURE TO VERIFY M5SUM of downloaded iso image file BEFORE to burn, then when verified burn the iso image at lower speed you can do and activate data verify.

How to burn the image https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BurningIsoHowto

Then boot your pc entirely from the install cd.
When you start your pc form Ubuntu install cd you must not see start any other operative system start than Ubuntu.

Hope this helps

" I download .iso file which is in .zip format"
I see any interest to make a zip of a file which is already compressed.
From where did you download ?
Check against address given by Marco.
