Remotely install Ubuntu desktop via Windows

Is there a way I can install Ubuntu through a remote desktop connection via Windows 7?

No as remote desktop needs a whole bunch of stuff running to work. You cannot install ANY OS via remote desktop.

If you have a remote access hardware like DRAC or similar you can install an OS remotely but you will need to boot the system to some remote medium or PXE to get the install started, even to then get an SSH service running to then install packages and suchlike.

You could boot the livecd then enable remote desktopping via vnc, but you may as well just stay and setup the OS instead of connecting viavnc to complete the install
