How to install Ubuntu 10.10 on top of another Ubuntu

Asked by Michael Lee

I'm already using Ubuntu 10.04 but I want to upgrade to Ubuntu 10.10. How do I do that? Because before I was using Windows 7 and I used Ubuntu 10.04 and I made Ubuntu wipe out the WIndows 7 partition so it is all Ubuntu 10.04. Now I tried updating Ubuntu 10.04 to 10.10 from a burned CD. It's not working! What did I do wrong? Thanks a lot for making Ubuntu so great!
