i am installing 10.04 with windows xp

i am installing 10.04 with windows xp it seems to be frozen while copying files i have been stuck at 47% for the past 45 minutes .....is this normal?

Are you booting from Ubuntu live cd or are you installing Ubuntu inside Windows using Wubi...(not suggested)?

i am using Wubi. it rebooted fine after dl was asked what os to boot chose Ubuntu now seems to be stuck
