Can't pass "Who are you?" page on installation

Asked by Charlie Laabs

I'm installing Ubuntu 10.10 64-bit on a computer I just built today. Everything works and the hardware supports 64-bit shtuff. I'm installing with no internet connection (because I'm on the floor right now) and I'm installing the 3rd party software. I got through all the time stuff and keyboard stuff and I'm at the "Who are you?" page. I filled in all the stuff and got check marks and even made a "Good password". I just can't click the forward button. It's all installed and it says "Ready when you are...". I just need to click Forward and I can't.

Halp.

Well now I fixed the timezone thing and set it to Chicago, not Madison, WI.

Now it says on the bottom: "Getting the time from a network server..."
I don't know if I have Internet or not because it said it had no internet connection but I have it hooked up to get Internet from my MacBook Pro through and Ethernet cable.

Does it do this if it doesn't have internet?

I already fixed this to display a proper error message, a couple of months ago. However, Ubuntu 10.10 had already been released and I don't have a time machine - sorry!
