How do I re-install Ubuntu 10.04
Hello,
I have been running 10.04 since April without any (I mean any) problems.
I recently upgraded to 10.10 and have had nothing but problems......
Although the install itself went without errors, there are continuing problems
Booth errors finding the "modules.dep" file, which is in fact there and in the correct directory?
Shutdown errors, seem to be slightly different each time?
Several instances of Ubuntu 10.10 freezing up in:
Firefox (3)
OpenOffice 3.2 wordprocessor (2)
Each time information was lost and I had to perform the process all over again.
I do not know if the FATAL error when loading the modules.dep file is related to the problems above and therefore
when this is solved, the other issues will go away?
BOTTOMLINE
I would like to understand the best method(s) for
1. Uninstalling 10.10
and
2. Re-installing 10.04
Thank you
