Installing Ubuntu Netbook 10

I've just download Ubuntu Netbook 10 to install onto my Eee PC 901, I am installing it from USB. I have mad it through to the 'Who are you?' screen and entered in my name, password etc but the only option it gives me is back. Any reason why this may be?

Use ONLY lower case characters and use only letters and numbers (don't use anything like fullstops or hyphens in your username)
