Ubuntu 10.10 install problem

Asked by Joel Dufour

Ubuntu has gotten stuck in the middle of install. It is at a window where it has requested for me to make a username, name, and password. There is a Next and a back button, but the next button is greyed out. At the bottom of the window is says that it is "Ready when you are" and there is also a skip button, which is also greyed. It has just finished copying files before it happened. I have all the prompts filled out, and the version is the most recent ubuntu as of today, 10-10-10.

Same problem here. Typing the user name in **all lower case** enables proceeding to the next installation screen.
