Asked by wizodd

I have Lucid installed (64-bit) and I would like to o to Lucid (32-bit)

Where can I find information about doing this?

I suggest you the quick way
- save your home directory and your relevant data
- and reinstall Ubuntu 32 bits... from a valid md5sum verified iso image burned to a cd...

Download the iso image using torrent protocol http://releases.ubuntu.com/10.04.1/ubuntu-10.04.1-desktop-i386.iso.torrent

if you have any doubt please ask...

You cannot change architecture without clean installing.

I usually keep /home in a different partition so i can do fresh installs whenever i need them, without the need of extensive backups (have to remember about /etc and /usr/local/*bin)
