Problem with setting computer time.

Asked by Dylan Lawrence Moore

I recently have traveled to another time zone to the east of where my computer originally had Ubuntu installed on it, and the computer appears absolutely convinced that the time is one hour ahead of where it is here. No matter which region I set the time preferences to, or if I manually set the time an hour back, every time I restart my computer it is an hour ahead.

Anyone have an idea what's going on? Thanks for any help!

Verify if it's synced via internet. Maybe also verify BIOS time.
