Compiling tvtime from source

Asked by Sergey

Hello.

Tvtime from package works fine, but if I use 16:9 aspect ratio some interface's parts (time, channel number) become out of the screen.
Here is screeshot: http://cs622526.vk.me/v622526736/52c5/0WPV70TxBcs.jpg

To solve this problem I found patch for source code ( https://www.gentoo.ru/node/24161 ). But when I compile and install tvtime from sources, overscan works only in 4:3 aspect ratio. I also tried to install tvtime from source without applying this patch, but anyway overscan works only in 4:3 aspect ratio. I don't unterstand why this happens. So could you tell me in details, how to compile and install tvtime from source to make overscan working in all aspect ratios?

Thanks.
Best Regards,
Sergey

I suggest you report a bug. There may be a PPA with a newer version which includes the patch.
