trayer package

another systray already running ?

i'm using Ubuntu 16.04 with Unity and i want to use this Trayer app .. but when running it, i get the message "another systray already running" .. is this true ? How can i detect which systray is running on my laptop ? Or can i also use Trayer beside it ? How ? I read some info about Window Managers, Notification Area, etc. -- esp. for Ubuntu Unity -- but it's all not clear to me .. I found other apps like Trayer, e.g. AllTray, KDocker and stalonetray, and installed some of them, but i don't know how to use them (in bash scripts).

Alltray is super easy to use. It's:

alltray application

Eg:

alltray firefox

You can run this using ALT+F2
