How to always have transmission output displayed?

Asked by tashi on 2011-05-24

Hi once more, guys,

I have one more question: I always have the transmission program running to manage the torrents over my computer, but how could I see somewhere displayed the output/input present speed, for instance onto the dashboard?

Thanks to help me about it, if ever you know an efficient answer!

In the upper bar, right click, select "Add an applet" and choose "System Monitor". In its preferences, select Network.

Yep, OK, it's done but I already knew that 'trick'...
But actually I would have preferred to exclusively have the information dealing with transmission traffic, for instance a little widget to add into the upper bar.
I did it anyway, and I think it could be enough efficient to attempt to erase that little problem...
But if ever anyone knew the proper way to know the pure transmission traffic over my access to the Internet, I'd really like to learn it here, through this VERY efficient "launchpad" website!
(which enlarges the distance with that crappy "€$cro$oft LooseDoesn't", that you surely have already known despite your will! ;D)

And OK, I've now searched over and understood that actually it should exist as a plug-in for instance...
I did not presently find the appropriate one, but I think it should exist somewhere onto this page...
(and good luck for you to find it, if ever you saw my message and wondered about a way to solve this trouble! ;D)

This question was expired because it remained in the 'Open' state without activity for the last 15 days.

delance: ... sorry, but I can't find "system monitor" inside the network tab!
And moreover, I'm French and so I use Transmission French version, so I may simply not catch exactly what you may advise me!
But you may know the way to switch the language, not to have to realise the "mental translation"?

Thanks delance, to help me once again! ;)

No more answer? Anyway, I don't use transmission any-more...

So let's consider the problem as now solved!
Good luck, each one...
