tracker error:"unregistered torrent"

In the program Transmission one of the torrent files I am downloading, when almost finished downloading displayed the error message tracker error:"unregistered torrent". What does this mean and do I need to do anything or take any actions?

This means that torrent has been deleted from the tracker, by the tracker admins, and isn't a Transmission issue.

If it's a public torrent, Transmission may be able to find other peers from other trackers or via DHT.

If it's a private single-tracker torrent, completing an unregistered torrent is very unlikely.
