how to change from avi file to an iso so i can burn

i down loaded a movie and its in avi form, now i need to burn it what do i do

This is not a transmission question. Transmission doesn't do video format conversions or disk burning...

ISO has nothing to do with video *.avi format. Just burn that video on an empty CD/DVD with Brasero or some other burning tool.

  Insert a blank dvd and open it then drag avi file to it click burn.

you need to use brasero....seems it is not installed if it is not first install this application and then right click on the file and then open with brasero
Braserro is cd/dvd burning package and you dont need to burn it as iso ....simply burn it as avi so that it can be played directly.
