p2p program

Asked by Eldon L Mello Jr

any recommended p2p programs?

i find it hard to find quality (and specific) music on torrent sites - maybe I just don't know where and how to search properly.

So if there's an easy way to find quality (and specific) music through torrent as easily as one can do on a standard p2p software I also would like to learn how to.

I guess it's needless to say I'm a Linux newbie, but now it's said anyway. :)

Thanks in advance,

I'm a fan of Deluge myself --> it's in the repositories also.

This is not a "Transmission" question. Transmission intentionally doesn't include a search engine because its development team doesn't endorse any particular torrent sites.

I'm sorry Charles,

Just wanted to confirm what you've just said and get some good advice about that.

Thanks you all,

I'll try DC++ and Deluge!

   I did not notice transmission mentioned! what I noticed was someone asking questions about Ubuntu. I personally use Ktorrent (repositories)
  As far as sites do find torrents you will have to google them or email someone and ask what they use.
