How to increase senstivity for gestures?

I have to repeatedly perform a particular gesture and only then touchegg recognizes it. My laptop is pretty fast otherwise, i3 with 8gb ram. I believe that it's an issue of sensitivity or some other configuration.

I'm using touchegg on ElementaryOS (a fork of ubuntu) using this config file https://github.com/louisduhamel/touchegg-config/blob/master/touchegg.conf

Elementary OS isnt supported by the Ubuntu community. It has it's own community and support structure.

None of the Ubuntu-forks are supported by Ubuntu.
