totem package

plaing videos try to put on full screen and the computer shuts down

as soon as i play a video and try to put on full screen the computer shuts down !!
also when i mack the image bigger the screen turn on whit and i only here the sound !
ps : the problem is on all the movie players that exist on my computer.

other problem the cd reader is not working when i insert a cd it never work!

can you please help me getting my computer works ?

Please try to disable desktop effects if they are on from menu System→Preferences→Appearance [Visual Effects]

yes than you it is working...

but cd drive is not working yet! the message i got (Unable to mount location) can't mount file.
