where can i download the gecko media player

I was going to download the mplayer plugin for mozilla but there is a note on the the page that states:the mplayer software is no longer maintained upstream & its replacement is geckomediaplayer.Can someone tell me where I might find the Geckomediaplayer?

From Repository

Connect to the internet, open a terminal and input the command: sudo apt-get install gecko-mediaplayer
