itunes loading

I tried loading I tunes and I'm unsuccessful. I have an I-touch and would like to transfer my music from I-pod to my computer which has Unbutu 9.10.

Can not load Itunes
and can not load music from Ipod to computer.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

itunes doesn't work in Linux

you need to use banshees/gtkpod/amarok

or run a full blown virtualbox which will involve running windows inside Ubuntu (huge bloat as well as costly due to licenses) and use itunes

or just get a better mp3 player
