Asked by John Kelly

Hi,
I have the latest mplayer updated in Karmic.
In applications I have Movie Player which I assume is Mplayer Movie player and I have Mplayer media Player.Playing a video.... Movie player works but Mplayer media player on selection to play the video says error seek failed.
Could you please help with this......as to the difference between these players!? Am I meant to have both or is there a place for both?
thanks
John

the other movie player is totem movie player ( i guess).. So, they both are different.
If you don't want any of them then you may uninstall it using synaptic.
