Totem Player

I was able to watch videos from Totem Player for the first time and all of sudden it closed down. And now I can't see them any more. Now when I click on my videos it opens and closes down.

By the time the issue occurs, please be so kind and take a look in the logfiles to get some hints what's going on, e.g. syslog, messages, Xorg.0.log
system administration -> system log

Also you may start Totem in a terminal by typing:
totem
