streaming buffer problems

i am trying to stream trailers from the apple site. the only problem is that the buffer is so small, whenever i try to play the video it pauses every couple of seconds to refresh the buffer. how can i increase the buffer size, or download the stream to the hard disk?

Thanks for your question. To download the stream you can try to use wget. Open a shell and do:

$: wget your_internet_link

To optain the link you can use firefox, right button on the stream link and choose "copy the link"

I think your issue is related to bug #108623, so I linked it. Hopefully Totem's buffering will be touched up some day!
