Asked by Jim Conway

Binary package hint: totem

When I log into Ubuntu the totem movie player starts up. I can't find any settings that would cause this to happen. I am baffled!

that's likely a configuration issue, changing to a question rather than a bug

Hi

You can check System->Preferences->Sessions and see if Totem was somehow set to start automatically. If it is in the list you can stop it from starting automatically by removing the check mark next to it.

Hope this helps.
