totem package

how to reconfigure for Totem seek control

 hi
 Totem skips a minute ahead with the right arrow key press and skips 15 seconds backward with the left arrow key.
  I want to change a seek time.
  when i press the key(right/left arrow) I hope it skips 5 seconds forward or backward.
  how can i do this?

I guess you need to take a look at the sourcecode and change it there - a corresponding gconf-option does not exist.

Just wondering if its possible to make this configurable. I like totem, but I often find myself wanting to configure the amount of seek time. It appears I am not alone, see http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=656225 and http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=418128

Would it be possible to make seek time configurable?
